Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Extraction and Mapping: Develop efficient data extraction and mapping strategies to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Clinical Data Visualization: Create interactive visualizations to present clinical trial data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct thorough reviews of clinical data to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Process Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to streamline data processing and analysis.
  • Data Configuration and Management: Configure data extraction and transformations across multiple data sources at the study level, adhering to specifications provided by Data Engineers.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with internal/external stakeholders and data engineers to ensure accurate data delivery.
  • Documentation and Training: Participate in the development, maintenance, and training of standards and best practices used by business for transfer specs.

Additional Activities:

  • Vendor Quality Review: Assist with quality review of activities performed by vendors, as needed.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Adhere to SOPs for computer system validation and all GCP regulations.
  • Professional Development: Ensure compliance with own Learning Curricula, corporate, and/or GxP requirements. Perform other duties as assigned within timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency in using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Knowledge of Clinical Trials Process: In-depth knowledge of the clinical trials process and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
