Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee our financial and cash management operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of portfolio financing, collateral management, and margin methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handling margin calls and monitoring short-term liquidity of funds to analyze causes for change in liquidity.
  2. Understanding various margining methodologies of agreements in a portfolio and tracking internal views of margin.
  3. Implementing end-to-end margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information.
  4. Onboarding new clients, gathering requirements, and showcasing capabilities.
  5. Managing stakeholders' expectations by identifying needs, articulating scope, escalating issues, and bringing about changes.
  6. Enhancing knowledge on the client platform and industry.
  7. Performing data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, reconciliation, BAU activities setup, and client parallel support.
  8. Collaborating with technology teams on special projects, developing reports, and implementing products.
  9. Oversighting financial and cash management operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  10. Managing collateral and liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.
  11. Monitoring and responding to margin calls in a timely manner.
  12. Supporting and coordinating securities lending transactions to maximize asset utilization.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance with in-depth financial knowledge.
  • Collateral management, financing agreements, and margin methodologies expertise.
  • Experience in securities lending and borrowing, and optimizing portfolio financing.
  • Understanding of data sources like Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit for financial attributes.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of margin calls and security lending.
  • Financial/Cash Management and Collateral/Liquidity Management understanding.
  • Proven track record of handling projects and improving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and able to bring about changes while managing stakeholders' expectations.
