Data Protection Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Data Protection Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of data storage technologies, including Dell PPDM and DataDomain. A strong understanding of backup technologies and experience with manual ticket creation and resolution is also required.
Key responsibilities include managing and troubleshooting backup environments across multiple data centers, addressing and resolving backup failure tickets manually, and ensuring backup integrity and optimizing backup processes.
The selected candidate will work with various tools, including Dell PPDM/DataDomain, Oracle ZFS, and IBM TSM.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in data protection and a passion for delivering high-quality results. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.
You will be responsible for providing support and maintenance for a complex landscape of storage technologies, including Hitachi VSP PB, HP 3PAR, NetApp AFF & FAS, IBM 9500, and Scality.
A strong understanding of enterprise backup and storage technologies, experience with multi-vendor storage environments, and ability to perform storage optimization and cleanup are essential skills for this role.
The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and documentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
