Capture Manager Position Overview
">The Capture Manager plays a pivotal role in helping an organization expand by identifying and capturing new business opportunities in both public and private sectors. This position involves developing comprehensive strategies for teaming, pricing, and proposal development across the capture lifecycle.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and evaluate their feasibility.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication.
- Review and qualify RFPs and RFIs, driving the proposal process forward with strategic precision.
- Craft compelling proposals by developing concepts, gathering information through expert interview techniques, writing engaging drafts, and finalizing submissions.
- Establish and maintain reference databases for technical, management, and past performance expertise.
- Develop compliant and persuasive content leveraging industry knowledge and best practices.
- Conduct thorough after-action reviews for all contracts, documenting lessons learned and identifying necessary adjustments to capture techniques, strategies, and actions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
">- Proven experience in capture-related activities for Federal or State procurements.
- Successful track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
- Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents that drive results.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a deep understanding of cost and financial considerations.
- Familiarity with GSA and other Federal Schedules.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., English, Journalism, Communications).
