Marine Structure Expert

We are seeking an experienced Marine Structure Expert to lead the design, planning, and construction of marine infrastructure including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile port development projects in challenging coastal environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Marine Structures: Develop and implement advanced structural designs for marine infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, stability, and sustainability under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Coastal Engineering Expertise: Provide in-depth expertise in coastal and marine engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure in challenging coastal environments.
  • Structural & Geotechnical Analysis: Conduct comprehensive structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of marine structures under various environmental conditions.
  • Project Management & Coordination: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of marine construction works.
  • Environmental & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that construction processes align with environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.
  • Construction Supervision: Provide on-site guidance, troubleshooting, and decision-making during the construction phase, overseeing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of marine structures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine structures design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Marine Structures or equivalent, with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine engineering principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction, working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in marine engineering software for designing and simulating coastal and marine structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes, including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective solutions for marine infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Marine Structures).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects.
