Cloud Data Architect Lead

Overview:

Our organization seeks a seasoned Cloud Data Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement large-scale data architecture frameworks leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures and blueprints for data warehousing and big data analytics solutions.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of cutting-edge data engineering tools and technologies across cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build data products, data processing frameworks, metadata-driven ETL pipelines, data security, data standardization, data quality, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Apply data modeling best practices, including dimensional modeling and data vault techniques.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing robust security measures using Azure Active Directory and Azure Key Vault.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing data architectures on Azure.
  • Expert-level skills in Azure Fabrics, Synapse, ADF, SQL, and Python/PySpark.
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying large-scale data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, ADF, and MS Fabric Notebook.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
