About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to lead our frontend engineering efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of modern, impactful products and shape the user experience in a mission-driven company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, architecture, and maintenance of all frontend applications.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to rapidly deliver new features.
- Own and champion code quality, maintainability, and performance across projects.
- Mentor and review code for junior engineers to uphold development excellence.
- Advocate for modern frontend best practices, with an emphasis on automated testing, accessibility, and usability.
- Drive innovation in UI/UX—quickly prototype and implement the latest technologies for frictionless user journeys.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in React Native app development.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks (such as Material UI).
- Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective cross-functional collaboration.
