Software Developer Position

This is a Full Stack Developer role where you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications. You will work on the front-end using React JS and NodeJS for the back-end.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable front-end applications.
  • Build and optimize back-end services and RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate and manage AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, Cognito, SQS.
  • Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Implement authentication, authorization and secure data handling.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers and other developers to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Write clean, modular and reusable code and conduct code reviews.
  • Participate actively in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-9 years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development.
  • Strong experience with AWS services and deploying applications on AWS.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design, integration and security.
  • Experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with additional AWS services or serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks/libraries.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices for unit/integration testing.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • AWS or JavaScript/TypeScript certifications.
  • Experience with analytics integration.
  • Strong design skills and an eye for UI/UX.
