Senior Dynamo Script Developer – Engineering

This role requires a skilled individual to work within the Special Projects Team at our Global Delivery Centre in Mumbai.

The team comprises experienced professionals, including architects, engineers, and designers with varied backgrounds.

We are seeking a Senior Dynamo Script Developer to design, develop, and maintain automated workflows using Dynamo. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing Dynamo scripts for automating tasks in BIM;
  • Collaborating with the team and managers to understand problem statements and work challenges;
  • Providing Dynamo technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team;
  • Staying updated, researching, and developing new technology related to Dynamo, automation, add-ins, and Revit;

Additional duties include:

  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, team leaders, and other multidisciplinary teams;
  • Planning and implementing efficient automation scripts to accelerate project modeling, QC, etc.;
  • Managing scripts and Add-ins using web and cloud management;
  • Tracking script health status and other data after publishing scripts;
  • Developing document workflows, scripts, and tools in a structured manner;
  • Providing training and support to teammates based on requirements;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A BE/B.Tech in mechanical engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of full-time experience in developing Dynamo scripts and 2 years experience in working with Revit on projects;
  • Highly experienced in Dynamo script development;
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and Revit APIs;
  • Familiarity with BIM concepts, tools, and software;
  • A deep understanding and experience working with MEP systems and architectural models;
  • Proven skill in developing custom packages using Revit API;
  • Extensive work experience in Revit and other BIM software;
  • Ability to optimise scripts for larger models; develop and manage scripts for multi-users;
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Experience in BIM-related projects;
  • Proven skill in error handling;
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing scripts.
