Job Role Overview

• Senior Quality Test Engineer (Copado Robotic Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Innovate process improvements to drive efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction.
2. Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that enhance testing capabilities and product quality cost-effectively.
3. Identify areas for cooperation with other teams to improve overall quality and, with peers or others, implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.
4. Configure, maintain, and/or administer testing tools or environments.
5. Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time and to specification.
6. Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.
7. Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
8. Plan and execute automated and performance tests working with QA/Testing staff, project managers, technical leads, and subject matter experts.
9. Report issues and results, researching and identifying root causes as appropriate, documenting accordingly.
10. Ensure testing addresses requirements as agreed with other stakeholders.
11. Research available tools and participate in initiatives to implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
12. Identify opportunities to apply existing automation or other tools to meet testing needs.
13. Research and identify root causes of performance issues in partnership with architects, developers, and network and system engineers.
14. Maintain awareness of industry trends and evaluate emerging developments that may benefit the organization.
15. Conduct project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implementing procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables.
16. Cooperate in the enhancement of methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting.
17. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices.
18. Maintain a framework for record retention to support internal and external IT audits.
19. Work across teams to enhance quality assurance/testing and help develop and execute performance and automation testing throughout the business as appropriate.
20. Identify areas for improvement and, with leadership, peers, or others, implement initiatives improving overall capability and efficiency.
21. Ensure results of root cause analyses are addressed.
22. Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience
2. 3+ years of automation experience testing Salesforce.com applications
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Tech Skills and Qualifications:

1. Strong knowledge of Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) or Copado CI/CD pipelines
2. Experience developing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright
3. Proficiency in test strategy, automation frameworks, and version control
4. Working knowledge of APIs, Salesforce data models, and SOQL
5. ISTQB, Copado Robotic Testing or Salesforce certifications
6. Familiarity with CPQ testing, Visualforce, LWC (Lightning Web Components), and Apex
7. Prior involvement in Agile/Scrum delivery models
8. Strong analytical skills and a test-to-break mindset
9. Strong understanding of QA methodologies
10. Strong knowledge of process improvement
11. Advanced written and verbal communication skills
12. Experienced QA testing skills
13. Ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing
14. Understanding of industry trends
