Software Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Program Manager to lead the delivery of software engineering projects and programs. As a key member of our team, you will partner with engineering, product, and internal business teams to drive understanding, execution visibility, project delivery, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

You will be responsible for managing program statuses, financial forecasts, risk tracking, team member communications, and ensuring process compliance. Your exceptional leadership skills will help foster a collaborative environment, driving cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the program lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Program Strategy and Planning:
  • Create and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software programs in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive program-level planning and prioritization strategies.
  • Collaborative Execution:
  • Cultivate effective relationships across multiple software development teams and technical team members.
  • Facilitate milestone planning, progress tracking, and ensure seamless communication throughout the program.
  • Delivery Management:
  • Monitor and report on project and program progress, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Promote delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and mitigate project and program risks, maintaining mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

The Essentials:

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Additionally, relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent would be beneficial.
