We are seeking an experienced Geospatial Data Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the usability of geospatial mapping applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for geospatial mapping applications through multiple channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, data, and functionality issues.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user guides, FAQs, and documentation.
  • Assist in geospatial data acquisition, processing, and integration.
  • Configure and customize geospatial applications, scripts, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user needs and deliver solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support for GIS applications or related software.
  • Strong understanding of geospatial principles, spatial analysis, and mapping concepts.
  • Proficiency in geospatial software (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar).
  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats (shapefiles, GeoJSON, KML) and coordinate systems.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
