IT Infrastructure Specialist

The ideal candidate shall have the following key responsibilities:

• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting & maintenance of servers and storage
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting & maintenance of virtualization/HCI
• Experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting & maintenance of operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Exposure to databases and networks (LAN, WAN)
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
• Experience in FW/software and patch upgrade of servers/storage and OSE
• Exposure in system security (AV, EDR, HIPS, DLP etc.)
• Experience on implementation and enforcement of OS and application security and backup/recovery strategies
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Experience in troubleshooting and rectification of system performance issues and recommend improvements
• Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless operations
• Experience in preparation and maintenance of the asset list of system infrastructure installed at customer premises
• Experience in OEM coordination for implementation, troubleshooting and replacement

Key Requirements:

• Should have managed at least 3-5 Linux servers in the last 2-3 years
• Knowledge of RHEL, Ubuntu and Windows Server
• Knowledge of file system, networking and basic Linux services
• Proven experience as a system administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Should have experience in data centre
