Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to source and negotiate with suppliers for steel products, aluminum materials, and heavy machinery.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in procurement operations, including RFQs, purchase orders, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing and Procurement: Source high-quality steel products, aluminum materials, and heavy machinery from local and international vendors.
  2. Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
  3. Inventory Management: Coordinate with internal departments to manage inventory levels, optimize stockholding costs, and minimize waste.
  4. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and service excellence.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with procurement laws, regulations, and company policies to minimize risk and liability.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with market trends, material price fluctuations, and industry developments to continuously improve procurement processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.).
  • 2–4 years of procurement experience in KSA, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Solid knowledge of steel, aluminum, and machinery components.
  • Experience working with local and international vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Transferable Iqama preferred (for non-Saudi nationals).
