Lead Murex Professional
  • Drive the implementation of Murex module components based on industry best practices, designing and developing custom-built or third-party tool-based solutions.
  • Evaluate the feasibility of implementing and deploying Murex modules within project timelines, outlining construction and testing strategies to meet overall project plans.
  • Provide technical support for multiple modules or the entire application/package in production, resolving hot issues and implementing enhancements to optimize system performance.
  • Deliver insights into technology trends, driving authoring of technology proofs of concept and white papers to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with clients from business and IT organizations to create technology specifications from business requirements for Murex modules.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-9 years of hands-on experience with Murex MXML.
  • Develop technical designs for complex technology components within Murex modules, such as MXML Exchange, DataMart, Market Data, and Back Office.
  • Participate in design reviews of other modules, providing insightful comments to improve design quality and conformity to standards.
  • Contribute beyond individual modules to the overall Murex application area.
  • Assist architects in articulating the pros and cons of using specific technologies or components, driving the selection of technologies and designs for optimal architecture.
  • Implement proof-of-concept solutions (spike solutions) to evaluate new technologies or integration scenarios within modules.
  • Evaluate products or custom controls within and around Murex required for modules.
  • Perform gap analysis between business requirements and package features for package implementations, designing configuration, customizations, extensions, and interfaces to meet requirements.
  • Drive performance tuning, redesign, and refactoring for modules.
  • Provide innovative solutions to project-level technical challenges.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing build and release processes, system configuration, and deployment characteristics of applications.
  • Critique designs created by others, helping identify design and performance improvements.
