Senior Associate - Individual Tax

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our team. As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in reviewing moderate to complex tax returns prepared by junior associates.

The primary responsibility of this position is to foster a collaborative relationship with junior associates and managers, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the quality and timeliness of tasks assigned to junior associates, providing constructive feedback to ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Provide training and assistance to junior associates on day-to-day basis, promoting continuous learning and growth.
  • Contribute to tax research, developing a deep understanding of tax theory and principles, and apply them appropriately on individual tax returns to fulfill client requirements.
  • Enhance teamwork and communicate effectively with teams in India and the US, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Assist managers on projects as requested, demonstrating independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, coaching abilities, and teamwork experience.
  • Experience working on US individual tax returns with complex situations and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs).
  • Good knowledge of moderate and complex tax concepts, including forms like 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting.
