Civil Engineering Project Manager

Join our team of experienced civil engineers in planning, designing, and executing high-profile construction projects from conception to completion. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, cost estimation, and contract administration.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and budgets, taking into account material, labor, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure cohesive project approaches and optimal solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results and maintain client satisfaction.
">Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Budgeting:
    • Establish project scope, goals, and objectives in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
    • Monitor project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Contract Administration & Compliance:
    • Administer contracts, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including contracts, budgets, cost estimates, invoices, and project changes.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and local regulations.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication:
    • Lead cross-functional teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.
    • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve project goals and objectives.
    • Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, ensuring proactive and reactive measures are taken to minimize disruptions.
    ">Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, project management, or a related field.
    • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable; PMP certification beneficial.
    ">Desirable Skills:
    • Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore or Buildertrend.
    • Familiarity with industry-standard tools, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
    • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
