Key Expertise: Senior Software Engineering Role

  • The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the development of next-generation features for our application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex business functional specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain and support existing systems, addressing maintenance and support issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with other teams, providing technical assistance, support, and QA expertise.
  • Evaluate, implement, and lead the adoption of new technologies and tools within the team and across the organization.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an IT or Computer Science field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Commercial awareness, strong inter-personal skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language, including proficiency in at least one J2EE application server (e.g., WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss/Tomcat).
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Oracle (PL/SQL) and working knowledge of IOC container/Spring, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC & ORM like Hibernate.
  • Deep diagnosis skills, experience working with legacy code, thread dump analysis, and code profiling tools.
  • Good understanding of refactoring techniques, expertise with monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Splunk, Dynatrace), and knowledge of Java Memory Management and GC tuning.
  • Experience with Spring Batches, their performance tuning, and good understanding of Penetration-testing and vulnerability resolution.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-enhanced development tools to improve code quality, automate repetitive tasks, and speed up development cycles.
