Software Development Expert

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Software Developer to contribute their expertise and experience to the development of innovative solutions.

  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in software design, architecture, and development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • They will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • A key aspect of this role is the ability to work independently and as part of a team, leveraging technical expertise to drive innovation and growth.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience in software engineering, software design, architecture, and a deep understanding of how technology supports business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience working with development and testing tools, bug tracking systems, and wikis.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack, with knowledge of setting up DevOps and code quality processes in Android.
  • Familiarity with Micro Frontend modules in Android, as well as implementing programming best practices around scalability, automation, virtualisation, optimisation, availability, and performance.

This is a permanent position within a feature team, responsible for the full life cycle of software development, from initial development through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.

The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other engineers, architects, and business analysts to drive business outcomes and improve software engineering capability.
