Job Title: Agile Team Leader and Business Expert

Role Description: We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master with experience in business analysis to join our team as an Agile Team Leader and Business Expert. This role requires someone who can effectively facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:


• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies to ensure smooth project execution.


• Coach the team on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices to improve their skills and knowledge.


• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely delivery.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog that aligns with business objectives.


• Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners to achieve common goals.

Business Analyst Duties:


• Gather, analyze, and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects in collaboration with business stakeholders.


• Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure accurate requirements gathering.


• Work with data architects, engineers, and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately.


• Develop process flows, data mappings, and other documentation as needed to support project deliverables.


• Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards to ensure data integrity.


• Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.


• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment.


• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data warehousing, data analytics, or data services.


• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and business analysis concepts.


• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).


• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.


• Optional but good to have - Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)


• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
