Technical Leader - System Design and Engineering


Job Description:

The Technical Leader will be responsible for designing, architecting, and leading the development of scalable healthcare claims processing systems. This individual will also lead system design reviews, make technical decisions, and ensure that the developed systems meet required standards for reliability, performance, and security.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and architect scalable healthcare claims processing systems handling millions of transactions.
  • Lead system design reviews and technical decision-making for complex healthcare workflows.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security standards meet healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in leadership role.
  • Strong system design experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hand-on coding experience.
  • Experience with real-time processing systems and high-volume transaction processing.
  • Track record of successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.
  • Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and managing technical talent.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
