As a senior software automation test engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining quality verification systems for our tools and platform. You will collaborate closely with other teams to develop automated testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external-facing software systems.
  • Implement improvements in software engineering practices across engineering teams.
  • Build tools and frameworks for automated testing.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5–9 years in QA/Automation with 3+ years hands-on Cypress (JS/TS).
  • Strong proficiency with Page Object Model, data-driven tests, custom commands, intercepts, stubs/mocks, and handling dynamic elements/retries.
  • Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals (modules, async/await, promises).
  • Proven experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins with artifacts and parallelization.
  • Experience with API testing (Cypress request flows), JSON assertions, schema/contract validation.
  • Comfortable working with git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser platforms like BrowserStack.
  • Able to communicate complex requirements effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber with Cypress (@badeball/*).
  • Familiarity with Node.js scripting for test data and utilities.
  • Knowledge of Dockerized test execution and basic Kubernetes concepts.
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques (Lighthouse/Web Vitals) and accessibility tooling (axe).
