Job Overview

Arm Limited is a world-leading technology company that specializes in designing and licensing high-performance, energy-efficient processor designs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Hardware Systems Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

This role will involve developing systems (also known as kits) that include Arm processors, interconnects, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CPU and/or SoC architecture, digital design concepts, and Verilog/VHDL coding. They will also be proficient in logical programming using C/C++/Assembly and have experience with random verification methodologies including test generation tools, HVLs, coverage, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing complex hardware systems that integrate Arm processors, interconnects, and peripherals.
  • Debugging hardware-software failures using simulation and emulation platforms.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Arm technologies and protocols.
  • Maintaining strong communication with cross-site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Actively reviewing inter-project dependencies and risks to achieve greater success.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware systems engineering, with a focus on CPU and/or SoC architecture.
  • Proven track record of execution and/or methodology development and deployment on complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
