Key Roles and Responsibilities

The position of Data and Business Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, providing insightful analysis through Power BI and Excel.

This hybrid role combines data engineering and analytics, requiring strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines, as well as the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management and upkeep of data collection tools used by all departments.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, and APIs.
  • Administer and optimize our SQL database on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure high-quality, clean, and well-documented data pipelines and dataflows.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.
  • Manage special data projects as we expand into new areas.
Business Intelligence & Analytics Focus:
  • Develop and maintain interactive PBI dashboards and automated reporting tools for various teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Utilize Excel for ad hoc analyses and present findings and insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure dashboards and data collection tools accurately reflect the status of our program.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, and data pipelines.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with data engineering and analytics.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and Azure Data Factory.
