System Resiliency Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the reliability of enterprise-grade systems and applications.
  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Conduct stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities in complex systems.
  • Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend improvements in design or operations.
  • Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios and propose resiliency enhancements to optimize performance.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on system resilience.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter and Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python and Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
