Job Description">

As a seasoned underwriter, you will be responsible for performing live underwriting with complete end-to-end case ownership.

The ideal candidate will have 3.5+ years of relevant underwriting experience and strong knowledge of credit report review, debt-to-income ratio assessment, loan-to-value ratio evaluation, asset calculation, and PITI review.

You will work on both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting cases, including income calculation, DTI ratio assessment, LTV ratio evaluation, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform live underwriting with complete end-to-end case ownership
  • Evaluate borrower profiles using the 4Cs of Credit - Character, Capacity, Capital, and Collateral
  • Conduct detailed credit report reviews for accurate risk assessment
  • Work on both UK mortgage and US mortgage underwriting, including income calculation, DTI ratio assessment, LTV ratio evaluation, and asset calculation
