Job Title: Quality Assurance Team Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Team Lead to spearhead a high-performing team of senior quality assurance analysts in Vijayawada, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing workflows, ensuring delivery of exceptional QA audits, and serving as the primary point of contact for escalations, reporting, and process enhancements.

This is a leadership role that demands strong analytical skills, insurance domain expertise, team management experience, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders across geographies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of senior quality assurance analysts
  • Oversee quality assurance activities across key underwriting back-office processes
  • Act as a quality gatekeeper, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of audit findings
  • Monitor team productivity, manage audit sampling volumes, and ensure timely completion of reviews
  • Collaborate with process owners, compliance, and training teams to identify root causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and performance dashboards
  • Collaborate with onshore business stakeholders and BPO QA teams to calibrate QA standards and reporting practices
  • Conduct regular audits, calibration sessions, and error trend analysis to drive quality improvements
  • Implement GRS QA frameworks, SOPs, and controls tailored to specific lines of business
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and accountability
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; insurance certifications preferred
  • 10-12 years of experience in P&C industry operations, including 4 years overseeing QA function and managing high-performing teams
  • Proven expertise in underwriting processes for different geography regions and business lines
  • Familiarity with vendor governance and multi-tier QA environments
