Key Roles/Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and provide insights to senior management.
  • Collaborate with business teams to drive profitability and organization goals.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning initiatives.
  • Manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance finance operations' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning efforts to support strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor real-time financial performance.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
  • Develop strategies to improve financial performance.
  • Present detailed financial reports to senior management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with various teams in the organization.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external parties to ensure compliance and transparency in financial reporting.
  • Support senior management on ad-hoc requests for analysis.
Requirements
  • Financial services background and prior Big 4 experience preferred.
  • FP&A background preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with business partners.
  • SAP Cost Centre and Profit Centre reporting knowledge desired.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills an asset.
  • Team player, proactive, and result-oriented.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-3 years of experience.
