- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Data Scientist is required.
- Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Databricks and its ecosystem, along with strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala. Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Databricks. Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Cloud Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.
- Advanced Degree: An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field is desirable.
- Machine Learning Frameworks: Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is an added advantage.
- Data Visualization Tools: Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is beneficial.
- Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is preferred.
