Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled accountant to fill this key position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for companies.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed financial statements, reports, and summaries as needed.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable effectively.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks accurately.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues promptly.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations is beneficial.
