Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
">The position of Cyber Security Specialist is a critical role that requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to plan, design, and implement software and web applications with a focus on security.
">- Analyze and determine integration needs for secure software development.
- Evaluate and plan software designs, test results, and technical manuals for secure application implementation.
- Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
- Program new software, web applications, and support new applications under development and customization of current applications with emphasis on security features.
- Edit and review technical requirements documentation for compliance with security standards.
- Work with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements for security protocols.
- Displays knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty, including cybersecurity.
- Displays knowledge of and ability to apply process design and redesign skills for efficient and secure operations.
- Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply project management skills, prioritizing tasks for timely and secure delivery.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance, ensuring the highest level of security.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary, while maintaining security protocols.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
