Inventory Deployment Analyst

About the Role

Victoria's Secret Global is seeking an experienced Inventory Deployment Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a key member of our global team, you will play a critical role in executing pre-season and current-season inventory deployment functions to support store inventory and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in inventory deployment and demand forecasting planning and alignment
  • Execute size selling analysis to drive local merchandise distortions
  • Leverage technology solutions to increase accuracy and efficiency in inventory deployment and tracking
  • Analyze past performance to identify opportunities and create proactive actions to improve inventory position and drive sales
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting as necessary
  • Perform analysis of store-level callouts from retail partners
  • Support MP&A team by identifying areas of opportunity in the assortment and adapt future deployments to reflect new learnings and strategies

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory deployment and/or demand forecasting – preferably in international retail markets
  • High level of technical proficiency using Microsoft Excel required
  • Proficiency with some/all of the following systems preferred: MSI (Microstrategy), JDA Allocation, SAP
  • Excellent statistical/quantitative analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be a team player and to foster a commitment to teamwork among associates
