Senior Fund Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced fund accountant to manage fund-level accounting and support portfolio company oversight. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple industries.

  • Manage monthly closes, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance in QuickBooks or similar software.
  • Record and track interest, fee, and equity income across structured deals.
  • Prepare management reports and investor-ready financial statements.
  • Support CPAs on tax prep, filings, and fund administration.
  • Review financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flag variances.
  • Ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across multiple industries.
  • Standardize reporting templates and assist CFOs/finance leads.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of direct fund accounting experience in private equity, private debt, or fund administration.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Background working with companies in the $10M–$100M revenue range.
  • Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
