Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled API Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing APIs using Google APIGEE Edge or APIGEE X. A strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and other API security standards is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, Developing, and Deploying APIs: Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies. Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Implementing API Proxies and Policies: Design and implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation, etc.), and custom scripts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API integration and smooth operation.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve API performance and availability issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in API development using APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and other API security standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
