Job Title: Content Editor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative content editor with a strong command of English and a passion for content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and edit articles, event coverage and published content for accuracy, clarity, grammar and readability
  • Organize engaging interviews with school principals and key stakeholders to highlight achievements and stories
  • Manage the publication process, including text, audio and video content on the FairGaze website
  • Recruit and guide student journalists and contributors to enhance content quality
  • Collaborate with the social media team to promote published content effectively
Editorial Role Overview:
  • Develop and manage the overall theme of each magazine edition to align with school standards
  • Source and coordinate content from student journalists, fact-checking and proofreading to ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with designers for layout and magazine aesthetics to create an engaging reader experience
  • Work closely with schools to feature relevant stories, achievements and interviews that showcase school spirit
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field from a recognized university
  • Proven professional experience in editorial roles with a portfolio showcasing relevant work
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content streams simultaneously
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging and diverse content
