Financial Planning and Analysis Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis role is responsible for providing critical support to the finance team by analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize costs.

This role involves working closely with the controllership and business finance teams to close monthly MIS and prepare business scorecards. It also requires developing deep understanding of the business, cost drivers, and other functions of the organization through data-driven trend analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciliation of MIS and book of accounts to close Monthly MIS
  • Stakeholder management and working closely with the Controllership and Business Finance team
  • Ad-hoc analysis on various projects as required

Required skills and qualifications include strong Excel/Google Sheet skills, good business acumen, and strong financial modeling and PowerPoint skills. Previous experience in FP&A is desired, and experience in a startup would be preferred. Knowledge of SQL would be a plus.
