We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team as a key contributor in designing and implementing scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot, as well as hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.

The role involves developing and maintaining microservices-based architecture for scalable systems, implementing and managing data persistence using Hibernate/JPA with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and integrating Kafka for reliable and scalable messaging and event-driven architecture.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will apply software design patterns and best practices for clean, maintainable code, collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality solutions, participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and performance tuning, and contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will also be able to mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
  • Proficient in Hibernate / JPA and working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging platforms
  • Sound understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and best coding practices
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git, and deployment tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize code
