Job Title: Electronics Systems Leader

As a pioneering electronics systems leader, we are seeking an expert to spearhead the development of next-generation electronic solutions. This high-profile role entails leading complex R&D initiatives while fostering collaboration within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronic System Design: Design and develop sophisticated analog and digital electronic circuits for applications requiring exceptional reliability.
  • Ruggedized Electronic Solutions: Oversee the design and prototyping of ruggedized electronic systems, including IP65/IP68-rated enclosures, tailored for harsh environments.
  • PCB Layout: Create and review PCB layouts and schematics using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCAD).
  • Component Selection: Choose optimal electronic components and materials for superior performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • System Integration: Work closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and prototypes.
  • Laboratory Equipment: Operate lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies) for circuit debugging and verification.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for manufacturing, compliance, and assembly processes.
  • Design Reviews: Contribute to cross-functional design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and the development of innovative electronic solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Electronic Circuit Design: Proficiency in electronic circuit design, analysis, and simulation using tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
  • PCB Layout: Strong expertise in PCB layout, schematic capture, and multi-layer board design.
  • Ruggedization Techniques: Solid understanding of IP-rated (IP65, IP68) electronic enclosure requirements and ruggedization techniques.
  • Prototyping and Lab Equipment: Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, debugging, and using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and power supply design.
  • EMI/EMC Considerations: Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations, signal integrity, and design for reliability.
  • DFM/DFA Best Practices: Understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) best practices.
  • Documentation Tools: Proficiency in documentation tools and MS Office for reporting, BOM generation, and design records.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Additional certifications in electronics design, embedded systems, or project management are a strong plus.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of managing cross-functional engineering teams and delivering complex R&D projects.
