The role of Senior Economist is integral in providing strategic, financial, and economic support to clients and guiding their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop regional, urban, and industrial plans using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Lead business cases, feasibility studies, and economic impact assessments
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and control standards
  • Support business development activities and contribute to project proposals
  • Attend and lead client meetings, presentations, and workshops as required (travel may be involved)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or a related field
  • Master's degree is a strong advantage
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting, strategic planning, or project development roles
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering economic advisory within sectors such as real estate, transport, environment, tourism, and social infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Strong capability in both qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop evidence-based strategies
  • Ability to provide sound economic advice across varied and complex projects
