We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our data platform team. This is an exciting opportunity to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that enables our data and analytics products at scale.

About the Role:

You'll play a key role in building maintainable data pipelines for data ingestion and operational analytics. This includes developing customer-facing analytics products that deliver actionable insights and data, collaborating with data stakeholders to identify data needs, and contributing to analysis processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing specifications, testing, deployment, and scaling plans for data pipelines
  • Building data pipelines that scale for TBs of data using high-level object-oriented programming languages (Python or Java)
  • Experience in Cloud data platforms like Snowflake and AWS, EMR/Athena
  • Expertise in building modern data lakehouse architectures using Snowflake and columnar formats
  • Data modeling, SQL query profiling, and data warehousing skills
  • Distributed data processing engines like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Datalfow/Apache Beam
  • Workflow orchestrators like Airflow, Dagster
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in building and running data pipelines
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, cloud data platforms, and data lakehouse architectures
  • Experience in distributed data processing and workflow orchestration
  • Excellent data visualization skills (PowerBI, Metabase, Tableau, Hex, Sigma)
