Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software development or performance testing and engineering, with expertise in systems analysis and agile practices.

The successful candidate will engage in the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement. This includes activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, launch reviews, and maintenance of services once they are live.

The Performance Test Engineer will work closely with the team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the service. Additionally, they will implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.

The ideal candidate will be aware of production degradation of service level objectives and identify specific system information needed to facilitate incident response and post-mortems. They will also contribute to a Scrum team to maintain a deep understanding of system functionality and architecture.
