Job Title: General Manager, IT Talent Acquisition

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager, IT Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts for the BFSI & Other sectors (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Automotive, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in talent acquisition with a focus on IT roles and deep expertise in the BFSI domain. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top IT talent, ensuring alignment with the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top IT talent for BFSI roles, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives. Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates through various sourcing channels.
Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage the IT talent acquisition team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance. Set recruitment team goals and track performance metrics to meet hiring objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, business unit leaders, and HR teams to understand workforce planning needs and develop recruitment strategies accordingly. Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers to provide insight into talent trends, recruitment best practices, and market conditions.
Candidate Experience:
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. Promote diversity and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
Market Research & Employer Branding:
  • Stay informed of industry trends and competitors' hiring strategies. Enhance the company's employer brand by leveraging social media, digital platforms, and industry events.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Utilize recruitment analytics and data to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine strategies. Develop and present recruitment reports and dashboards to senior management.
  • Vendor & Partner Management:
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and technology vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure the cost-effectiveness of recruitment solutions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT talent acquisition, with at least 7 years in a leadership role within the BFSI sector.
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of BFSI-specific IT roles, technologies, and market trends.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment tools, ATS systems, and recruitment analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring senior-level IT professionals.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with national/international recruitment and managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and compliance in the BFSI sector.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
