Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Cost Manager with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Profitability Analysis: Prepare detailed profitability reports to inform business decisions.
  • Cost Management: Develop monthly cost sheets, standard costing, and inventory valuations to optimize efficiency.
  • Manufacturing Cost Analysis: Analyze actual costs versus standard costs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Historical Data Collection: Gather and analyze historical cost data to support budgeting and forecasting.

Financial Reporting & MIS

  • Monthly Financial Closing: Oversee the accurate reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and balance sheets.
  • Management Decision-Making: Provide actionable insights through MIS reports.
  • Audit Support: Ensure seamless audit processes and respond to auditor queries.

Audit & Compliance

  • Cost Audit Reports: Prepare comprehensive cost audit reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cost Record Maintenance: Ensure adherence to Cost Accounting Standards and maintain accurate cost records.
  • Financial Transparency: Present a fair and true financial view of the company.

Coordination & Support

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster effective communication with cross-functional teams to gather cost data.
  • Project Cost Planning: Assist management in planning, organizing, and scheduling project costs.
  • Financial Accuracy: Ensure interaction with auditors, vendors, subcontractors, and team members promotes financial accuracy.

Process Improvement

  • Financial Data Evaluation: Assess financial data to improve accuracy and completeness.
  • Cost Control Measures: Recommend and support performance improvement initiatives.
  • Insight Provision: Offer key insights on turnover, profitability, and expenditure to management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional Certifications: Hold a CMA or ICWA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Industry Expertise: Possess experience in costing, accounting, audit, and financial reporting.
  • Cost Accounting Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards and Cost Audit requirements.
  • Technical Proficiency: Show proficiency in financial software, SAP/ERP systems, and MS Excel.
  • Analytical & Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Priority Management: Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
