Cloud-Native Architect

Experience:

We are seeking an experienced architect with a strong background in cloud-native technologies, particularly Kafka and Service Mesh.

  • 5-8 years of IT experience with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-native applications.
  • Proven track record of successfully upgrading Service Mesh from version 2.0 to 3.0 on production clusters.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenShift (OCP) and its integration with Kafka and Service Mesh.
  • Solid understanding of microservices communication patterns, hybrid cloud/on-prem architectures, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-native architectures for high-performance and scalable applications.
  • Lead the migration of Kafka from Mirror Maker & Zookeeper to KRaft architecture.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy, configure, and manage Kafka and Service Mesh on OpenShift environments.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Kafka, Service Mesh, and microservices hosted on OpenShift.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud-native architectures and deployments.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Prior experience in banking or secure environment projects is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite with limited external internet access.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, design patterns, and deployment strategies.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of overall IT experience with a proven track record of delivering cloud-native solutions.
