About the Job

As a PLC specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our existing and new function blocks and libraries. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our systems are efficient and reliable.

  • Develop, update, and test existing and created function blocks and libraries.
  • Generate user documentation for our PLC libraries, programs, and function blocks.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues in various PLC environments.

This role requires strong skills in PLC programming, particularly with Codesys or Twincat3. A good understanding of high-level programming languages like Python or TypeScript is also desirable.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • A degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
Preferred Qualifications

It would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with manual and automated testing.
  • A strong understanding of electric automation and mechatronic systems.
  • Good written and spoken English language skills - knowledge of German is an advantage.
