Chief Information Security Officer

Job Overview

The role of the Chief Information Security Officer is pivotal in ensuring the security of sensitive information. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, from risk management to data protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Conduct thorough assessments of third-party vendors to ensure compliance with security standards and mitigate potential threats.
  • Application Security Testing: Review technical assessments, including code reviews and vulnerability assessments, of internal and partner infrastructure to identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Security and Protection: Implement robust access controls, encryption, and data loss prevention measures to safeguard confidential data.
  • Regulatory Audits and Compliance: Lead regulatory audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Information Security Awareness and Emergency Response: Develop and implement information security awareness programs for employees and vendor staff, and conduct tabletop exercises to simulate business disruption scenarios.
  • Security Operations Centre (SOC) Monitoring: Oversee SOC monitoring and closure of security alerts, as well as vulnerabilities in infrastructure and networks.
  • Security Tools Implementation and Monitoring: Review, implement, and monitor various security tools to ensure organizational requirements are met.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of information security best practices.
