Senior Storage Software Engineer

This position is a high-level technical leadership role requiring exceptional skills in software engineering and strong domain knowledge of storage technologies.

  • Develop and implement high-availability storage systems with redundant components, utilizing expertise in C, Python, RTOS concepts, multithreading, SMP.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design cost-effective and reliable storage solutions, leveraging experience in product management, hardware engineering, manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and debug complex storage systems, employing knowledge of SCSI, SAS, NVMe technologies.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, explain designs, troubleshoot issues in live environments.
  • Provide technical guidance to software teams and mentor junior engineers.

As a senior technical leader, you will:

  • Lead and mentor software teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product management, sales, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on storage technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of C, Python, RTOS concepts, multithreading, SMP, and other relevant technologies.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring software teams.
