Job Overview

The position of Senior Hosting Product Specialist is a key role within our organization, focusing on the monitoring and maintenance of our hosting products.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring product stability using internal tools
  • Providing L1/L2 support ownership for all hosting products
  • Participating in incident response, troubleshooting, and fixes for various products/services

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Monitoring: Utilize internal tools to monitor the stability of our hosting products
  2. Support Ownership: Take ownership of L1/L2 support for all hosting products, including cpanel, plesk, vps, cloud, and dedicated
  3. Incident Response: Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and fixes for various products/services

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of Linux Systems
  • Basic knowledge of DNS & Networking
  • An understanding of Application Protocols (SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP)
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including at night and on holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of Cloud technology
  • Knowledge of RAID, LOM/IPMI/IP KVMs, Dell Hardware
  • Familiarity with Nagios, DHCP, Kickstart/Cobbler, Yum, RPM, GIT/SVN
  • Proficiency in Regular expressions and Rescue Kits like TRK
