Job Title:

Shopify Front End Developer

This is a unique opportunity to work with Shopify and JavaScript, developing and customizing themes, ensuring technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, building reusable code, collaborating with the development team, and staying up-to-date with emerging trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and Customizing Themes: Develop and customize Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields.
  • UI/UX Design: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Code Reusability: Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Emerging Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and apply them to development.
Requirements:
  • Shopify Experience: Experience working with Shopify.
  • DOM Manipulation Knowledge: Strong knowledge of DOM manipulation.
  • CSS Expertise: Excellent CSS skills.
  • Git Knowledge: Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
  • Liquid Framework: Experience with Liquid framework (a must).
  • Asynchronous JavaScript Knowledge: Strong knowledge of asynchronous JavaScript and related libraries such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • GraphQL: Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • React.js: Experience working with React.js.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
Key Skills:
  • Strong Knowledge of Shopify: Strong knowledge of Shopify including Liquid syntax, Shopify objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel.
  • JavaScript Experience: Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries such as jQuery and Vue.js.
  • DOM Manipulation Knowledge: Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors.
  • Responsive Design: Familiarity with responsive design and media queries.
