ATE Test Development Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Test Development Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for migrating existing test programs from various platforms to the NI STS platform, as well as developing new test programs for wafer sort and final test package.

  • Migrate existing test programs from Teradyne J750, ETS 88, and Teradyne Microflex to NI STS platform
  • Develop new test programs for wafer sort and final test package
  • Develop and maintain characterization programs
  • Drive FA and debug activities for digital/analog failures in ATE test program
  • Custom test method development and data analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 4-7 years of industry experience in IC Test or equivalent field
  • Strong experience in semiconductor test engineering and practices
  • Proficiency in C++/C# programming languages
  • Solid understanding of test program development and debugging
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis for test correlation
  • Familiarity with test instrumentation and ability to work with various hardware platforms
